どもども。  Hi. 皆様、今日はいかがお過ごしでしょうか？  How are you doing, everyone? 先日、AndyっちとHit-chanのお友達で、私たちの結婚式でも色々お手伝いしてくれたレイモンド家の長女、キャサリンのベビーシャワーに参加してきました。  The other day, Andy and I went to Katherine's baby shower. Katherine is one of the Raymonds who helped to do our wedding. ベビーシャワーという言葉、日本ではあまり聞きませんが、こちらではとても馴染みのあるイベントでして、妊娠している妊婦さんの為に友達や家族が集まってお祝いするんです。   We're not familiar with the word, Baby Shower, in Japan, but it's a really popular event here in the US. It's like a party for a pregnant woman to celebrate the baby coming with the families and friends. 基本、ベビーシャワーは女の人ばかりが集まるんですけど、例外的にAndyっちとショーンも参加しました。（笑）  Basically, baby shower is a girl thing, but exceptionally, Andy and Shawn joined Katherine's one. Hehe.  椅子に座ってるのが主役のキャサリンね。 The lady sitting on the chair is Katherine.  こんな感じでゲストからのプレゼントを皆の前でお披露目していきます。 Like this, she's showing gifts that she got at the shower one by one in front of the guests. キャサリンのベビーちゃんは女の子と分かっているので、皆からのプレゼントも可愛いお洋服が多かったです。  Since we already know that Katherine's baby is a girl, most of the presents are very pretty baby clothes. で、キャサリンが皆にプレゼントを見せる度にゲストから、 「わ〜、可愛い〜。」とため息がこぼれていたのが面白かったです。  What's funny is that the guests couldn't help but sigh, "Oh..., so cute...!" everytime she showed the gifts to the guests. でね、このベビーシャワーに生後6週間の赤ちゃんも来ていて、めちゃくちゃ可愛かったので見とれていたら、ママのジェイミーが By the way, there was a 6-week baby boy at the party and I swooned over the cute sleeping face. Then, his mom, Jamie asked me 「抱いてみる？」 "Do you want to try holing him?" って聞いてくれたので、もちろん。。。 So, of course...  はぁ〜〜〜。Hit-chanを天国に連れて行ってくれました。 Oh..., he took me to the heaven. パーティーの間、ず〜っと大人しく眠っていたおりこうさんなベビーちゃんで、本当可愛くて可愛くて、この上ない幸せを感じました。  During the party, he was quietly sleeping and super cute. Holding him couldn't make me happier! ベビーちゃん独特のミルクの匂いを嗅いで、Hit-chanの双子の妹、スイッチ、スカッチ達が赤ちゃんだった頃を思い出しました。  The baby's unique milky smell reminded me of when my twin sisters were born. Andyっちからは、 Andy told me 「めちゃくちゃ幸せそうな顔してたで。」 "You look so content." って言われましたし、ショーンの奥さん、ベッキーには and Shawn's wife, Becky said to me 「とっても自然に抱っこしてたね〜。」 "You were really naturally holing the baby" って言ってもらえました。  いやぁ、改めてHit-chan、赤ちゃんが好きなんだなぁって感じました。  Oh my, I realized how much I like babies again. キャサリンのベビーシャワーも無事成功しまして、6月かな、元気なベビーちゃんが生まれてくるのを待つのみでございます。  Katherine's baby shower went well too and now all we do is just waiting for the healthy cute baby girl in June. めっちゃ楽しみでございますね。  I'm so looking forward to it. 最後に、ちょこっとテンションが上がった話。  Lastly, about something made me excited a little bit. この時久しぶりに会った、キャサリンの妹マリーが持っていたカップがこちら。  At the shower, Katherine's sister, Marie was using this mug.  これ、カリブーのん。 This is Caribou's. でね、このカップ、カリブーコーヒーがまだ今みたいに大きくなる前に売っていたカップで、マリーのお父さんJTが勤めている印刷会社が色を付けたらしいです。  And actually, Marie's father, JT did the printing on the mug before Caribou's developed like now.  裏はこんな感じ。 The backside is like this. 何か、知らない所で大好きな人たちとカリブーで繋がってたのがちょっと嬉しかったです。  I got a little bit happy to know the connection between my favorite people and me with Caribou. という訳で、マイベビーちゃんはいつになるかなぁ〜と思ったベビーシャワーでございました。   Anyways, this is how I wondered when I become a mom. どもども。 Hello! 皆さん、いかがお過ごしでしょうか？  How's it going today? Hit-chanはですねぇ、早朝からのシフトを終えて、今は家でのんびりしております。  I've done the early morning shift today and now am being lazy at home. さて、今日のお話ですが、先日、Hit-chanが仕事を終えて家でぼ〜っとしてましたら、Andyっちから電話がありました。  The other day, I got a call from Andy at home. まぁ、Andyっちはいつも会社を出る時に電話をくれるんで、その日もいつもと同じ3時頃にかかってきて Andy always gives me a call when he leaves his office and he called me around 3:00pm as usual on the day. 「今から会社を出るね〜。あっでも、帰りに酒屋さんに寄るから〜。」"I'm leaving now, but I'll stop at a liquor store on the way back home!" と言ってたので、特に何も思わずそのまま家で待っていました。 He said like that, so I was waiting at home without thinking anything special. で、オフィスルームにある自分のコンピュータで遊んでいると、その内にAndyっちが帰ってきました。  And when I was playing with my laptop in my office room, Andy got back home. そしたら、Andyっちが部屋に入ってきて・・・ Then, he entered the office room and said 「ハニーちゃん、これは何でしょう！」"Guess what? Honey-chan!" と言って、青い紙袋を手渡してくれました。 and gave me a blue bag. 一瞬、 At the moment, 「今日、何か記念日やっけ？！」 "Is it any anniversary today?!" と考えてみたんですが、どう考えてみても、Hit-chanにとっては特に何も無い普通の日。  I was wondering, but all I could think was just an ordinary day for me. で、中を見てみると。。。 Here are what came out from the bag.  野球のグローブとボール、そしてカードが。 （ボールは新品2個だったんだけど、写真を撮ったのは今日で、既に使用した後です。笑） A baseball glove, balls and a card. カードには、 The card said 「普段Hit-chanがしてくれる事に対して、僕がどんなに感謝しているか言い表せないので、目に見える形で伝える為にプレゼント２つを贈ります。"I cannot begin to tell you how much I appreciate you, your patience for me and all the things you do to help. １つは、この紙袋に入ってるもの（さっき紹介したグローブとボール）。もう１つはいつでも好きな映画が見られるように、１年間のNetflixのメンバーシップです。だって、Hit-chan、映画好きやもんね。愛してるよ！」I wanted to show my appreciation so I got you two gifts. One is in the bag + the other is for a 1year membership to Netflix, so that you can watch many moves, because I know how much you like movies! I love you!" （Netflixはパソコンで映画をダウンロードしたり、好きなDVDを家まで配達してくれるサービスです。） とありました。  本当、こんなプレゼント全然考えもしていなかったので、めちゃくちゃ驚きました。  Seriously, I didn't even imagine this and got so surprised. そして、このサプライズにも驚いたんですけど、何よりAndyっちがHit-chanにこんな事をしてくれるくらいに感謝してくれている事に驚きました。  Besides this surprising present, I was also surprised that Andy appreciates me so much as he did the wonderful thing to me. 野球のグローブとボールって、聞いただけでは小学生の男の子が欲しがりそうな物ですけど、正真正銘Hit-chanが欲しかったもので、早速Andyっちと家の前でキャッチボールをしました。  A baseball glove and balls, it sounds something that a little boy wants, but truly, that's exactly what I wanted。So, we went out of the house and played catch immediately!  多分、高校の時に体育の授業でキャッチボールして以来だったので、本当に、本当に、本当に楽しかったです！ Probably, I'd never played catch since I did in a high school PE class, so that was really, really, really fun!!! Andyっちも超久しぶりにキャッチボールをしたみたいで楽しそうでした。 Andy didn't play catch for a while either, so he looked having fun too. 運動にもなるし、夫婦の会話も出来るし、楽しいし、これからもいっぱいキャッチボールしていきたいと思います。  Playing catch is a good exercise, having us a conversation and of course, very enjoyable, so I want to do it a lot. こんな素敵なプレゼント、本当にありがとうね、Andyっち〜〜〜！ For such a nice present, thank you so much, Andy! という訳で、何気ない日をしあわせ〜な日にしてくれたAndyっちに感謝、感謝でした。 Okay then, that's how Andy made my ordinary day so happy! ↓応援クリックお願いします。 Please click the pictures below to vote for my blog.
どもども。 Hi! 皆さん、いかがお過ごしでしょうか？ How are you doing today? こちらミネソタは、新緑の季節でして、外は綺麗な緑に囲まれております。  Here in MN, it's in the season of fresh green and it's very beautiful green out.  うちの家の前です。 This is in front of our house. いやぁ、家の庭、写真で見て分かるように、めっちゃ傾斜が急なの分かります？ Oh well, can you see that our yard is so steep in the picture? 庭ほとんどがこんな感じなんで、ほんま芝刈りがめちゃくちゃ大変なんですよ。 Most of the yard is like this and that's why it's super tough to mow the lawn in our yard. で、昨日の仕事、めちゃくちゃ忙しかったです。 By the way, it's super crazy at work yesterday. お天気が良かったのか何なのか、平日なのにいつもより忙しい上に、カリーナと二人だけで捌かなくてはいけなくて、ラッシュが収まった頃には二人ともクタクタになってました。  Since it was so nice out or something, it's busier than usual week days and also we had to handle with it just by Karena and me, so we got exhausted when the big rushes were gone. だから、カリーナと So, I told Karena 「今日は家に帰ったら、ゆっくりしようなぁ。」"Get rest at home today!" って言って店を後にしました。  and left the store. で、Hit-chanもそのまま家に帰ってゆっくり休もうかなぁと思っていたんですが、急に思い立って、家に帰る前にモールに寄って、仕事用に無地のTシャツを数枚買いました。  I was thinking to directly back to home and get rest as well, but suddenly I decided to stop at a mall and get some solid T-shirts for work on the way back. で、家に帰った後も、先日Andyっちが芝刈りしてくれた部分の芝がもう伸びているのに気づき、調子に乗ってそのまま芝刈りを決行しました。（笑） And also, even when I got back home, I realized that the grass got grown in a spot of our yard where Andy mowed the other day, so I made up my mind to mow there. いやぁ、こんなにエネルギッシュに行動したのは、何より次の日が休みだったからなんですけど、自分でもこんなに働くとはちょっと驚きでしたねぇ。 Oh well, this is me, but I got so amazed that I could work so hard and energetic even though today is off. で、この後、この日朝の4時15分に起きていたHit-chan、夕食後に力尽きて、そのままソファの上でAndyっちに起こされるまで爆睡しましたけど。  I actually woke up at 4:15am for work yesterday, so I completely got out of energy after dinner and fell in asleep like a log on the couch until Andy woke me up before he went to bed. まぁそういう訳で、昨日はめっちゃ行動的に過ごしましたが、お休みの今日はのんび〜り家にこもって過ごしております。 So, anyways, I was so productive yesterday, but I've been so lazy at home on this off day today. ではでは、今日はこの辺で〜！ Okay then, have a good day!!! ↓応援クリックお願いします。 Please click the pictures below to vote for my blog.
どもども。 Hi! 日本は今日、日曜日でしょうか。 It's Sunday in Japan today, isn't it? 皆さん、良い週末をお過ごしですか？ Are you having a nice weekend, everyone? Hit-chanですが、お休みだったんで木曜日の夜から金曜日の昼まで、合計14時間も寝ました。 Well, me, since I'm off, I slept over 14hours from the Thursday night to yesterday's noon. Hehe. いやぁ、目覚ましもかけずに寝たいだけ寝れるって本当に幸せですねぇ。 Oh well, how happy you can sleep as long as you want without setting your alarm on! で、Hit-chan、3日前に家で包丁を洗っていたら、指を切っちゃいました。  By the way, I cut my finger 3days ago when I was washing a knife at home. すぐにバンドエイドを貼ろうと思ったら、目の前に瞬間接着剤が。 I tried to put a band aid on my finger, but I found a superglue bottle just in front of my eyes. で、付けてみるとこれ、結構良い感じ。 So I put it on my finger and it feels pretty good. カリブーの仕事で水仕事もするんですが、接着剤だと防水にもなって、全然問題ありませんでした。（笑） I often use water at work too and the superglue protects the cut from getting wet and I didn't have any problem with it. さて、昨日、今年最後のウルヴスの試合に行きまして、まぁ、ズタボロにやられた訳ですが、その一つ前のホームの試合で素晴らしい経験をさせてもらいました。 So, I went to the season last wolves game with Andy yesterday and we completely lost, but we had a wonderful time on the prior home game the other day. この日の試合にはいつもより早く会場に行きました。  On the day, we went to Target Center earlier than usual.  コートのすぐ横まで通してもらって、しばし待ちました。 They let us to go through to the side of court and we waited there a little bit.  記念撮影。 Andy took a picture for me. でね、目の前には。。。 And, in front of my eyes...  Hit-chanの一番好きな、ルーク・リドナー選手が目の前に！ （この日は怪我で試合に出れないと知っていたので、こうやって目の前でシュート練習をされているのをみて感動。） My favorite player, Luke Ridnour! (I knew that he's injured and wouldn't play the night, so I was so impressed to see him practice shooting just in front of me.)  で、もう一人、お気に入りのアンソニー・ランドルフ選手も目の前に！ And, another favorite player of mine, Anthony Randolph was also there!  Andyっちとショーンもワクワク、ワクワク。（Andyっち半目やけどね。笑） Andy and his best friend, Shawn were also excited! (Andy's eyes are half closed though. Hehe) で、時間が来たのでちょっと移動。  So, the time's come and we moved a little.  で、他に選ばれたファンと一緒にコートのど真ん中で待ちます。 We were waiting together with other picked friends in the middle of the court.  コートの上でも記念撮影。（この日は久しぶりに化粧したよ。笑） We took pictures on the court as well. (I put make up on after a while on the day. Hehe.)  一応、Andyっちも。 Just in case, Andy's too. で、目の前には。。。 And in front of my eyes...  いつも試合を盛り上げてくれる、コートホストのベンとビーライが！ The court host, Ben and B-wright, who always make a game so exciting! 二人ともとっても気さくで、ファンとも普通に会話をしてくれて、Hit-chanが写真を撮っているのを見つけて、ビーライはニコって笑ってくれました。  They were so friendly and frankly talked to us and B-wright smiled to me when he found me taking their picture.  コートからいつも座ってる場所を見てると、めっちゃ遠かったよ。（ニコちゃんマークのとこらへんね。） The smile mark is where we usually sit, so when I looked at there from the court, it looks so far. で、いよいよ時間が！ Finally, the time had come!  まずは相手チームのThe Warriorsの選手が出てきました。 First, the other team, The Warriors players showed up. で、ついに！ And then!  ウルヴスの選手が！先頭はマーテル・ウェブスター選手。 The Wolves players! The leader was Martel Webster. で、Hit-chan達を含めて、待ってたファンの皆は選手の手から直接、サイン入りのミニバスケットボールを受け取ったんです！ And, we all fans received mini sign balls directly from the players.  Andyっちは「ウェイン好きやなぁ〜。」って何日か前に話していたからか、その願いが叶ってウェイン・エリントン選手から。 Andy was saying "I like Wayne." some days ago and luckily Wayne Ellington came to Andy and he handed a ball to Andy! Andyっち、ウェインに直接 Andy could directly tell Wayne 「君は素晴らしいよ！」"You're awesome!" って伝える事ができまして、ウェインも嬉しそうにニコって笑ってくれました。 and Wayne looked happy and smiled to us. Hit-chanは変則的なんですが、 My situation was a little bit anomalistic and  またまたお気に入りの選手、アンソニー・トリヴァー選手から、さっきコートで観た、アンソニー・ランドルフ選手のサイン入りのボールをもらいました。 I got a ball with Anthony Randolph's autograph from Anthony Tolliver who's another favorite player of mine again. Hit-chan、全然何も考えてなかったので、何を言って良いのか分からなくなって、思わず I didn't think anything and I wasn't sure what to say, so I told him 「あなたの事が大好きです〜〜！」"I love you!!!" って言ってしまいました。 Hehe. 「あなたのプレイが大好きです〜！」"I love your play!!!" とか言えば良かったなぁってその後思いましたが、アンソニー・トリバー選手、わざわざHit-chanの目線に合わせて腰をかがめてニコって笑って握手してくれました。 I wondered if I should have said like that later, but he bent to shake hands with me as gently smiling. ちなみにショーンは、 By the way, Shawn  J・J・バレア選手からもらってました。 got a ball from JJ Barea. いやぁ、ほんとに一瞬だったんですけど、大興奮の時間でした。 Oh well, it was just a moment, but so exciting.  最後にボールと一緒に記念撮影。 Lastly, with the sign balls. ちなみに来年のシーズンチケットを申し込んだHit-chan達、昨年より今年良くなったので、来年はもっと強くなる事を祈りたいと思います！  By the way, we already updated our season tickets for the next year and the team was better than the last year, so I do hope that they will be much better than this year! という訳で、今日はこのへんで〜！ Okay then, have a nice day! ↓応援クリックお願いします。 Please click the pictures below to vote for my blog.
どもども。 Hello! 皆様、いかがお過ごしでしょうか？ How are you doing, everyone? Hit-chanはですねぇ、今日、また筋肉痛でございます。  Me, yeah, my body muscle is sore today again. 理由は、前回の打ちっぱなしではありませんで、昨日、Andyっちを驚かせようと、うちの庭の芝刈りを頑張っちゃったからでございます。 It's because I mowed the lawn hard in our yard to surprise Andy yesterday. 一応、手押しの芝刈り機を使っての作業ですが、うちの庭が半端なくでこぼこしてるんで、ほんとに大変なんですよ。 Well, I used our lawn mower, but our yard is quite uneven and so tough to mow. まぁ、めっちゃ頑張った甲斐がありまして、Andyっちが家に帰ってきてすぐにHit-chanの所に来て、 So, for that I worked so hard on it, when Andy got back home, he came to me right away and said 「めっちゃ感動した。ほんま感動した。」"I'm impressed. Honey, I'm so impressed." って喜びを伝えに来てくれました。 describing how much he's impressed. もちろん、 Of course, he said 「ありがとう。」"Thank you." と言ってくれたんですが、Hit-chanは思わず、 to me, but I told him 「ありがとう、ちゃうやろ。ほんまに、 ほんまに、ほんまにありがとう、やろ！」 "Not thank you, honey. You have to say, thank you very, very, very much!!!" って、言ったら、素直に And then, he obediently said, 「ほんまに、ほんまに、ほんまにありがとう！」"Thank you very, very, very much!" って言ってくれました。 Hehe. まぁ、それだけうちの芝刈りは大変だって事なんですよ。（笑） Anyways, that's how hard to mow the lawn in our yard. で、前回の記事の続き、カウンティングクロウズのコンサートのご報告です。 So, I want to talk about the counting crows after the last article today. コンサート当日、 On the day,  一応、会場前に記念撮影。（最近、毎日すっぴん生活。笑） We took a pic in front of the sign. (I don't put make up on at all lately.)  上手い事、看板の文字を入れられて満足。 I'm glad that I could put the sign in the pic well. で、会場に入ってすぐに、TシャツとかCDなどのグッズが売られていたので、記念に、AndyっちにTシャツ2枚、Hit-chanにTシャツ1枚を購入しました。 When we went to the building, we found the counter that they're selling T-shirts or CDs, so we got Andy 2 T-shirts and me 1. ここで、親友ショーンと奥さんのベッキーと合流   Around there, we could meet up with Andy's best friend, Shawn and his wife, Becky. で、会場に入ってみると。。。 And, we went to the inside...  こんな感じ。 Like this. 会場はミネソタステイトシアターという所だったんですが、思っていたよりも小さな会場で、Hit-chanとAndyっちの席は、一階の後ろから3列目くらいでした。 The place was Minnesota State theater and that was smaller than I expected. Our seats were located on the 1st floor and the 3rd row from the back.  凄く豪華な装飾がされていて、調べてみると、1921年にオープンした、歴史ある劇場なんですねぇ。 There was so gorgeous decoration on the walls and ceiling. I googled and found that it opened in 1921. 開演時間は7時半からで、まずは前座のバンドが1時間ほどプレイしました。 The open time was 7:30pm and it started from the opening band. 初めて聞く曲ばかりで、一曲一曲は良い感じでしたが、何曲も聞いてると全部同じに聞こえてきてしまいました。（笑）  I'd never heard the band, but still liked the songs one by one. They lastly sounded almost same to me though. Hehe. で、ようやく8時半すぎくらいにカウンティングクロウズが登場。 Finally, Counting Crows showed up on the stage around 8:30pm. 会場内では、ビデオ、レコーダーでの録音は禁止されていましたが、写真はOK。  We're not allowed to record the music with a video camera or voice recorder, but we could take pictures there.  ただ、暗い会場内では、Hit-chanのカメラと腕ではこれが最高。  But, this is the best shot that I could take with my camera and hands in the dark place. いやぁ、カウンティングクロウズ、他のミュージシャン達が憧れるバンドだけあって、演奏が本当に上手です。 So, well, Counting Crows, which is admired by other musicians, was so awesome to create sophisticated sound with the instruments. 確か、ギター3人、ドラム1人、ベース1人、ピアノ1人、ボーカル1人という構成だったと思いますが、本当、見事なハーモニーで心地よかったです。 I think they're 3guitars, 1drums, 1bass guitar, 1piano and 1vocal, but the harmony was pretty comfortable. もちろん、コンサートなので、音量は凄いんですが、演奏が上手いので子守唄代わりに眠れそうでした。（笑） Of course, it's a concert and the volume was so loud, but I even could sleep in because the play was extremely well and comfy. ボーカルのアダムも、ほとんどMC無しで歌いっぱなしだったんですが、全然声が乱れないし、凄い声量で、Hit-chanの知っている曲も何個か演奏してくれたので嬉しかったです。 Adam, the vocal, kept singing some songs without talking for a while, but his voice stayed so deep and rich. I was excited that they played some songs familiar to me too.
